Frequently Asked Questions
What is this bush for?

This small Phosphor bronze bush sits inside the centre of the MG Midget/AH Sprite 1275 crankshaft to support the end of the first motion shaft into the gearbox.
Which crankshaft will it fit?

Inline A-Series 1275 crankshafts that require a 0.750" bush, both standard factory types and the MED EN40B steel billet aftermarket versions.
What are the dimensions of this bush?

There are two spigot bushes available for the inline crankshafts, one with a 0.625" outside diameter and one with 0.750" outside diameter. This is the latter; we do not keep the smaller bush. Inside diameter 0.250" and depth 0.625".
Do you keep the roller bearing version?

No, we find the bush gives better longevity.
