MINI RACE GEARBOX STEADIES
Description
The MED Race gearbox steady kit fits to the lower mounting holes of the flywheel and the speedo housings on the rod change gearbox.
These are considered a must for any high performance trackday and race Minis to restrict fore and aft movement of the engine, which can otherwise lead to broken exhaust manifolds and gearchange issues.
The adjustable length bars feature high quality motorsport grade 3/8" UNF rod ends.
Tech specs:
- High quality 3/8" UNF Teflon-lines rod ends
- Supplied with all fixings and stainless steel spacers
- Adjustable on car, with left and right hand threads
- Powder coated heavy duty brackets
Please note, you will need to mark and drill two holes on the subframe to accept the rear fixings, although some subframes already have one hole drilled in a suitable position.
You may also wish to install one of our MED Race engine steadies to complete the kit.
