Where does this fit?

The lock tab fits on the end of the camshaft, to secure the fixing nut for the camshaft sprocket.

Does it suit all A-Series engines?

Yes, all classic Mini engines, Sprites, Morris Minors etc. The only exception would be when installing an MED cambelt conversion, as in this scenario we would use a drop of Loctite instead.

What's the original part number for these?

They replace 2A759.

Do I always need to change it?

We would recommend fitting a new one to each engine build, yes.
