LSD CROWN WHEEL BOLTS
Description
Our competition crown wheel bolts to fit with LSD-type crown wheels only. CNC machined from EN24T with reduced head height for gearbox clearance, the overall length is also pre-finished for exact fitment of most competition LSDs.
- Torque to 55lb.ft
Please note, these bolts will not suit the Quaife ATB or MED Helical Gear unit - for these applications see the ARP Quaife ATB bolt kit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where are these fixings designed to fit the A-Series engine?
These are made specifically to fix the hollow-type crown wheel gear in the Classic Mini gearbox, when using an aftermarket limited-slip differential. This includes our NXG unit, Mini Spares Evo, plus older LSDs such as Special Tuning Salisbury and Jack Knight and Tran-X. For all other differentials, search instead for MED-3502-QB.
What is the material specification?
These are CNC machined from EN24T steel.
Is there a recommended torque setting?
Yes we would suggest 55lb.ft with a drop of medium-strength thread lock.
What size socket will I need?
9/16" AF.
