MED LIGHTWEIGHT RACING ALTERNATOR
Description
Our 60-amp high performance racing alternator weighs just 3.05kg and is a standard-fitment replacement for A-Series, A-plus and B-Series engines.
The small compact design leaves plenty of room in the engine bay, while the sturdy brackets maintain excellent reliability, even on high RPM applications.

- Current: 60 amps
- Voltage: 12 volts
- Pulley diameter: 68mm
- Regulator Type: three wire
- Max. Rotor Speed: 18,000 rpm
- Type 1 connector (supplied)
The standard size alloy V-belt pulley is included, although for race engines the MED Large Diameter V-pulley is highly recommended. This reduces the shaft speed to avoid overcharging at sustained high RPM levels.
Also available is a heavy duty fixing bracket to further improve reliability, which will suit both A-Series and A-plus engines.
When installing to a factory wiring loom, a small amount of re-wiring will be required. Please contact us for help if you're unsure.
